Marisa Carpentier, OTR/L, CLC

I am a licensed Occupational Therapist with over 12 years of experience working with the most amazing children. I founded Creative Pathways because I am driven by a passion to provide the highest quality, compassionate, family-centered care. I am dedicated to helping children overcome their challenges and embrace their strengths, with a focus on fostering growth, independence, and confidence in every child that I work with. I am not just a therapist, I am a partner in your child’s success story, exploring the creative pathways to their brightest future!

Services

Comprehensive evaluations

Thorough assessments of your child's developmental, sensory, motor, and/or emotional needs, enabling us to create personalized intervention plans and make recommendations for home.

Academic support

Coordination with schools and educators to support academic success. This can include classroom observations, support during 504 Plan/IEP meetings, and providing school recommendations.

Convenient home-based therapy

While clinic-based therapy is valuable, the skills learned there don't always seamlessly transfer to a child's natural environment. Our in-home therapy ensures that the progress made carries over effectively into everyday life.

Emotional Regulation & Behavioral Challenges

Through a holistic and client-centered approach, occupational therapy addresses a wide range of emotional and behavioral challenges through:

  • Emotional regulation strategies
  • Sensory integration therapy
  • Cognitive-behavioral interventions
  • Mindfulness and relaxation techniques
  • Parent and caregiver education

At Creative Pathways, we are committed to empowering children to build self-awareness, self-confidence, and adaptive coping skills, enabling them to thrive in all aspects of life. Whether addressing challenges related to anxiety, ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, or other behavioral concerns, our occupational therapy services offer compassionate and effective support to help individuals achieve their fullest potential.
